History: Newt bought an egg from Walter, who after hearing her story/fear of eggs was kind enough to hatch them for her and send her over the baby pokemon. He also gave her the Absol for free, telling her they would help keep her safe.

She named her Vasquez after the only female marine who survived long enough for Newt to get to know her name.

Personality: While Hudson is shy, Vasquez is wary. She's still young but seems to have a distrust for the world. Newt told her about her name sake and how brave she was, makes her proud of the name though and she knows it's important that she keep people safe.

Vasquez has become a skilled battler and is proud of this fact. She wants to keep the group safe and she's doing it.
