That's awesome! Goldenrod's a tougher Gym!

How are your Pokemon doing?

Really good. Vasquez is getting really good at fighting in gyms and thanks to Botan, Jonesy isn't mad at me anymore.

So now no one in the group is mad or angry at each other.

[It's much nicer.]

Oh and my ghost pokemon learned dream eater so I got to sleep a night without any nightmares at all!

Botan's really good at that! I was having a problem with one of my Pokemon - I don't think you've met Bullseye yet - and Botan helped us work it out.

That's great, though, I'm really glad you're doing so well! Are you in Goldenrod now?

She's really nice. She made us milkshakes too. I didn't even know what those were.

No, I left a little while ago. I'm in ....Ecruteak City right now. I decided to do some of the scavenger hunt and I'd been in Goldenrod for a really long time.

[Two months is long when you're seven.]

Botan's great! We hang out a lot - she helped me decorate my little house! She headed back to the mainland, though.

Oh wow, I used to live in Ecruteak! That was a really long time ago, though.

[And none of the people she'd lived with were left.]

How are you doing on the scavenger hunt?

Not very good. So far I only found the lady in gold in Goldenrod. But I'll get more people soon.

I was thinking of trying for the badge here but then I remembered that the scavenger hunt is only going on for the summer and I can come back later and go for the badge.

Are you doing the hunt too?

That's a good point. And summer's a good time to travel anyway. Where are you heading next?

Nah, I've got some stuff going on down here - working and fixing up the homestead. You should come by and see it sometime! It's right on the beach.

After I find the person here I'll probably go to Mahogany Town and then Blackthorn City. Then I'll be able to use the teleporters in all but two cities so I can travel easier if I need to.

That sounds nice. You're on one of the islands right?

That sounds like a plan! The teleporters make it so much easier to get around.

I am! Three Island. It's got a lot of families, actually.

Yeah. I have to go to Kanto too though, I haven't been anywhere there yet.

[She pauses for a moment though and her voice gets quieter.]

Does....it look like the island where the alien monsters attacked?

[Because she just got over her major trauma of that.]

I went through Kanto last year, it was a lot of fun!

Kind of? I mean, there's beach and tropical forest, but it's not the same. The woods aren't a rain forest jungle like there, and there's a lot of parks. And it's a lot more...rustic? It's not fancy or anything, there's no tourist things. It's pretty quiet.

Oh....that might be okay then.

[She has no desire to go back to fancy resort/alien attack island.]
